This module is used to record and electronically bill the documentation of skin cancer screenings (eHKS) by GPs and dermatologists, as well as the programme assessment forms for bowel cancer and cervical cancer screening in accordance with the oKFE guidelines. Questionnaires for quality assurance in hearing aid provision for adults and children, including the APHAB questionnaires, are also available. Documentation can be transmitted via KIM, provided your KV supports this transmission method.

Workflow automation is a predefined process that ensures repeated sequences of various actions are carried out independently within the practice software. This includes, for example, recording vaccinations or documenting health check-ups. The function can be started manually or automatically.

One click to the desired action: the favourites bar provides quick access to recurring documentation and actions. It can be configured individually and is available within medical documentation. This allows, for example, prescriptions or forms to be called up directly.

Digital notes and reminders can be displayed wherever they are actually needed, for example in medical documentation or in the appointment planner.

An intelligent similarity search is integrated into the medatixx practice software, making it easier for you to find patients. This means you can now find names that have been entered incompletely. It doesn't matter whether you enter the first or last name, spell Schmitt with tt or dt, or use the date of birth to search. The search function suggests relevant results as soon as you start typing.

The practice software prints statutory health insurance forms using the blank-form printing process certified by the KBV, provided the KBV supplies the relevant templates. Repeat forms can be created for the forms, and form templates can also be set up.

With the DMP module, you can quickly and easily carry out DMP documentation for asthma, breast cancer, COPD, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and coronary heart disease based on standardised specifications. DMP recording and management is fully integrated into the practice software, allowing access to existing patient data. Billing can be transmitted via KIM.

Send and receive internal practice messages within the practice network as well as via the medatixx mobile app, receive external messages (red-hand letters, update information, etc.) and keep track of all KIM messages in a separate overview area.

With medatixx mobile for iOS and Android, you have read access to patient master data, patient records and lab data via smartphone or tablet. You can record medical documentation such as medical history and findings as free text, start route planning to the patient, and inform the patient by phone or email. Access to your practice's appointment planner is also possible, as is sending and receiving internal practice messages. Use medatixx mobile on the practice's Wi-Fi or via a secure connection while on the move – with the “Mobile Data Access” add-on.

The freely configurable “Patients present” view shows you all the rooms in your practice. Here you can easily move present patients by drag-and-drop, for example from the waiting room to any treatment room. This way, with your medatixx practice software – even if you are using two screens – you always keep an overview of the occupancy of your practice rooms, including stored photos and all important information about each patient.

With the ‘medatixx’ appointment planner, you can keep track of all your appointments. The ability to display multiple calendars with custom resource allocation (including the definition of working time profiles for doctors, staff and rooms) is just as much a given as the ability to customise your calendar: You can customise the views of the appointment calendar as you wish, ensuring you always see what’s important to you in any given situation. Even in the weekly and monthly views, colour-coding of appointment types and resources gives you a quick overview of upcoming tasks and available slots. The option to schedule recurring appointments makes booking appointments much easier for you. You can also view all appointments directly in the patient’s file via a tooltip. To conveniently send an appointment to a patient, a QR code can be generated instead of a paper appointment slip; this simply needs to be scanned using a smartphone. Once scanned, the patient will automatically find the appointment in their calendar.

With mobile data access (including 10 GB of data volume), you can conveniently use the medatixx practice software from home or on the move, without having to set up a VPN or similar. Work with medatixx from anywhere via a secure connection, just as if you were in the practice.

The electronic doctor’s report (eArztbrief) facilitates the rapid exchange of medical information between the doctors treating a patient. The information is transmitted confidentially and in a legally binding manner via the Healthcare Communications System (KIM). Medical practices receive better remuneration for this than they do for sending documents by post or fax.

The modern archiving solution x.archiv offers convenient, audit-proof storage of medical documents and images. x.archiv is deeply integrated into the practice software; a wide range of import sources enable the digital archiving of image files, documents and PDF files. With various editions and additional modules, the x.archiv product family offers the right scope of functions for every practice. x.archiv is a Class IIa medical device.

x.onvid, the video consultation solution from medatixx, securely connects clinicians and patients over the internet. x.onvid is seamlessly integrated into the practice software, with the video consultation created and launched directly from the appointment planner. Medical data such as lab reports can be viewed together and exchanged securely. All that is required is a laptop or PC, a webcam and internet access.

Using digital practice–patient communication, you can securely and quickly exchange relevant data and information relating to treatment with your patients. Using the gesund.de app together with the medatixx practice software is a special service offered by the practice: patients can contact their practice via messenger and send messages and documents directly, for example in the case of rescheduled appointments or to transmit findings or medical letters.

Professional vaccination management in the vaccination module. x.impfen is deeply integrated into the medatixx software via an interface. The patient’s vaccination status is displayed in the medical record and in the medatixx mobile app.

medatixx gives you the option of connecting various laboratory portals and creating laboratory orders online. A maximum of three laboratory portals can be booked. The respective laboratory portal provider will advise on usage, interface setup and any associated costs.
