The ePA für alle (electronic patient record for all) launches on 15 January 2025. Following the Digital Act (DigiG), all statutory health insurance holders will receive an electronic patient record from their health insurance fund unless they have objected (opt-out procedure). The ePA für alle offers benefits in terms of individually tailored treatment measures and supports therapy safety. It will significantly influence workflows in medical and psychotherapy practices. For this reason, a deeper look into the subject is already recommended now.
