Online appointment management – more options for customisation

As part of a continuous improvement process, medatixx's additional solutions are constantly being developed further. This also applies to the online appointment management system x.webtermin. Practices can now tailor the process of booking appointments via the practice website even more closely to their needs. For example, alongside a notice text — e.g. regarding a practice closure due to holidays — the appointment booking screen can now also include a link to the practice-specific privacy policy and the legal notice (Impressum).

Similarly, the text templates for outgoing email messages sent as part of patient communications can be easily adapted to the practice’s needs. Furthermore, there is the option to add a sender name to the email address used for appointment confirmations and reminders (the ‘noreply’ sender address). This allows, for example, the practice name to appear before the email address displayed as the sender.

Overall, patients are able to identify notifications from the practice more easily and quickly thanks to a higher degree of personalisation.

Fewer phone calls take the pressure off the practice team and make the practice more accessible by telephone. x.webtermin is directly linked to the practice software from medatixx, which prevents any interface issues. As x.webtermin synchronises in real time with the practice software’s appointment calendar, it only displays appointments that are actually available at the time of the enquiry. This prevents double bookings.
