Prof. Valmed: AI support for diagnosis and therapy

In November 2025, medatixx and Prof. Valmed® announced their collaboration. Prof. Valmed is the first AI-supported Class IIb medical device for clinical decision support, known in professional terms as a Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS). The application evaluates queries based on medically verified sources and provides traceable recommendations.

Integration with selected medatixx practice programs is planned. The most important medical details about the patient will then be passed on directly, so that the recommendation takes the individual case into account without anyone having to type in data manually.

What this means for your practice

An interface will be available for such systems, which practices can add on. The decision on diagnosis and therapy remains with you: the application provides guidance, not instructions.
